Create Your Practice Workstation
Practicing with a specific target in mind is a
key ingredient for playing great golf.
Practicing with a purpose and
establishing your body parallel to the target line as
well monitoring four general ball positions is a great
way of spending your time in an efficient manner.
Make sure to vary the clubs you
practice with and always change your target based on the
club you are using.
The four general locations for
ball position start with your short irons including your
wedges, 9 iron and 8 iron which need to be in the center
of your stance.
Ball position 2 which is one
ball forward of the center of your stance would be ideal
for the mid irons including your 7 iron, 6 iron, and 5
iron.
Ball position 3 which is two
balls forward of the center of your stance would be
ideal for all long irons, utility clubs and your fairway
woods.
Finally, ball position 4 which
is three balls forward of the center of your stance is
recommended for your driver.
